Haptic Harmony Interface

Haptic Harmony Interface

Project Summary

Haptic Harmony is a speculative music app combining wearable haptic technology and AR filters to create immersive audiovisual experiences. Users don’t just hear music—they feel rhythm through tactile feedback while dynamic visuals respond in real time. Created as a collaborative third-year studio project, our team explored how emerging technologies might shape future user experiences. My contribution focused on prototyping and designing intuitive interfaces in Figma, refining user flows and visual interaction to make a futuristic concept feel accessible and engaging.

Key screens

The interface prioritizes clarity and sensory engagement. Simple navigation, bold typography, and color-reactive visuals help users feel grounded while interacting with unfamiliar technology. Each key screen demonstrates a different part of the experience—music selection, AR filter activation, wearable pairing, and real-time rhythm visualization—designed to feel intuitive despite the futuristic concept.

Mockups

Final mockups include a branded Apple Watch lock-screen and a desktop landing page, showcasing how the interface could appear across devices.

Process & reflection

Process visuals include information architecture mapping for navigation and layout, paired with a screen of all interface assets and imagery used throughout the design. The project pushed me to merge speculation with usability—designing interfaces for technology that doesn’t fully exist yet. It broadened my understanding of UX/UI and reinforced how thoughtful design can make emerging tech feel accessible, exciting, and human-centered.
