Read Peaks Interface
Read Peaks Interface
Read Peaks is a prototype reading app designed to help users set personalized goals, track progress, and reflect on their reading habits. Many existing reading apps lack meaningful goal-setting, motivating feedback, and insightful data—this design addresses those gaps.
Users can customize goals by timeframe, pace, and units, while noting personal motivations. The dashboard displays current books and progress updates, encouraging consistency and accountability. An archive feature stores completed books, favorite genres, authors, and reading locations, while reflection prompts let users journal takeaways and personal growth.
This project explores a motivating, “quantified-self” reading experience that makes progress feel visible, rewarding, and personalized.
Project Summary
The key screens illustrate the core user flows, including goal-setting, progress tracking, and reflection. The interface is designed to be clear, motivating, and consistent across all interactions.

The process visuals include information architecture mapping, low-fidelity wireframes, and reference materials that guided design decisions. Mapping and wireframing clarified navigation and interaction patterns, ensuring the interface remained motivating and intuitive. This project introduced me to Figma and was a pivotal experience in integrating UX and UI principles, strengthening my ability to create user-centered interfaces and laying the foundation for future design work.
